‘Sutras’ from St. Thomas (Utterances from Jesus)

Sutra 12

Jesus said to his disciples: “Make a comparison to me and tell me whom I am like. Simon Peter said to him: “Thou art like a righteous angel.”
Matthew said to him: “Thou art like a wise man of understanding.”
Thomas said to him: “Master, my mouth will not be capable of saying whom thou art like.”
Jesus said: “I am not thy master, because thou hast drunk, thou hast become drunk from the bubbling spring which I have measured out.”
And he took him, he withdrew, he spoke three words to him.
Now when Thomas came to his companions, they asked him: What did Jesus say to thee?
Thomas said to them: “If I tell you one of the words he said to me, you will take up stones and throw at me; and fire will come from the stones and burn you up.”

Awareness (Jesus) was ascribed as this and that and made into abstractions by the conditioned mental phenomena, who were masquerading around as devotees, disciples, and so on.
But another body hit by Awareness (Thomas) was wonderstruck and therefore was unable to vulgarise through verbalization! Awareness and awareness – there were no two! And the masterful Awareness (Jesus) blasted: “I am not thy master“! Master and disciple were one.
Then Awareness uttered three words which were beyond all words:

SAT – COSMOS
CHIT – INTELLIGENCE
ANAND – ECSTASY

These do not mean anything to separative mind (stone)! But stone has fire hidden inside. So if they still continue to listen, fire (life) will burn the burden of the mind.

Sutra 13

Jesus said: “If those who lead you say to you, “see, the Kingdom is in heaven”, then the birds of heaven will precede you.
If they say to you, “It is in the sea”, then the fish will precede you.
But the Kingdom is within you and it is without you.
If you will know yourselves, then you will be known and you will know that you are the sons of the living father.
But if you do not know yourselves, then you are in poverty and you are poverty.”

Jesus (Awareness) says: “See the vulgarity of the mind preaching something which it knows not at all! Only false knowledge borrowed from others! Freedom from beliefs is the Kingdom and this freedom is everywhere within and without. This awakening to life is the integration of the mortal (son) with the immortality (father).” But if awareness remains asleep in the ambition and abstraction of the mind, there is only the poverty of paradoxes & perversions.

Sutra 14

Jesus said: “Blessed is the man who has suffered; he has found life.”
Jesus said: “Look upon the living one as long as you live, lest you die and seek to see him and be unable to see.”
They saw a Samaritan carrying a lamb on his way to Judea.
He said to his disciples: “Why does this man carry the lamb with him?”
They said to him: “In order that he may kill it and eat it.”
He said to them: “As long as it is alive he will not eat it, but only if he has killed it and it has become a corpse.”
They said: “Othewise he will not be able to do it.”
He said to them: “You yourselves, seek a place for yourselves in repose lest you become a corpse and be eaten.”
Jesus said: “Two will rest on a bed: the one will die, the one will live.”

Awareness (Jesus) reveals: “Suffering, a pious agony which is not of the mind, awakens compassion and compassion emerges in life. Disharmony among the living beings is due to darkness & disorder of mind which is not life. So wake up to harmony and order of life. Feeding the mind is killing of life. Promoting mind’s gratification is perverting life’s grace.”
Eating the corpse of other’s concepts and conclusions is ending of the living quality of life. Wake up to the real ‘you’, the life. ‘You’, as mind, will be exploited and eaten away (by gurus & godmen ) as the fake ‘you’ is merely a corpse of borrowed concepts.
Awareness (Jesus) shouts: “Belief and benediction in one bed!” – belief dies for bliss to be.

Sutra 15

Jesus said: “I am the light that is above them all, I am the all, and the all came from me and the all attained to me.
Cleave a piece of wood and I am there; lift up the stone and you will find me there.”

This is the Bhagawat Gita (IV:24):

brahmārpaṇaṁ brahma havir brahmāgnau brahmaṇā hutam |
brahmaiva tena gantavyaṁ brahmakarmasamādhinā ||

It is all Awareness. Life embraces the whole universe. It is only life, nothing but life. It cannot be contained in the products manufactured by the mind (death). See Life everywhere. Don’t seek It merely in churches, synagogues, mosques, temples and meditation centres!

Sutra 16

Jesus said: “Whoever is near to me is near to the fire, and whoever is far from me, is far from the Kingdom.” Jesus said: “Come to me, for easy is my yoke and my lordship is gentle.” Jesus said: “Whoever drinks from my mouth shall become as I am and I myself will become he, and the hidden things shall be revealed to him.”

Awareness is the fire of seeing. Rudraksha. Not aware means not in ‘Kingdom’. Awareness is easy and effortless. ‘Let-go’ is the lordship. Yoga is the yoke.
Goodness is gentle. ‘Better’ is the enemy of goodness, it is rude & rascal! Be avalaible to awareness by listening from the living lips of the body which has blasted into Awareness! Only then your body can explode into the light of awareness. Duality between guru and disciple will wither away for Divinity to be. Holiness hidden will be revealed.

Sutra 17

Jesus said: “Blessed are the solitary and elect, for you shall find the Kingdom; and because you come from it you shall go there again.”
Jesus said: “If they say to you: “From where have you originated?” say to them: “We have come from the light, where the light originated through itself.”
If they ask you: “What is the sign of your father in you?” say to them: “It is a movement and a rest”.

Awareness (Jesus) says: “To be in alone-ness (‘all-one’-ness) is to be blissfull. Then one is picked up by the Universal Intelligence for play. Then one has entered into the Kingdom (Awareness), which is the genesis of everything. This is Light, this is God, originating through itself. Creation is the Creator. There are not Two! In the mental and the mundane, there are always two. ‘No two’ is the truth of Life and Universe. Freedom from ‘two’ in the psyche is the greatest enlightenment. Diversity in nature does not entertain duality.”
God, as the mental, mundane and material fabrication, does not exist! It is only the ultimate greed and gratification of the mind! There is no Chairman and Managing Director of Kingdom of Heaven who is dispensing rewards and punishments according to the prescriptions of a particular theological system and polluting the sacred awareness in human beings with guilts and gullibilities. This nasty job is done by the priests and politicians all over this planet. So Jesus says: “Do not ‘believe’ in God to be blissful in Godliness! He is not the only son! Creation is the father, creation is the son! Awareness Divine is most dynamic as also is at eternal rest. It is reflected in living beings as movement and rest.”

Sutra 18

Simon Peter said to them: “Let Mary go out from among us, because women are not worthy of the life.”
Jesus said: “See, I shall lead her so that I will make her male, that she too may become a living spirit resembling you males.
For every woman who makes herself male will enter the Kingdom.”

Simon Peter is the stupid stone! He is asking Energy (mother) to go! But Intelligence (father) says: Energy connected with Intelligence is Intelligent Energy. There are no two! The wholeness is Awareness (Kingdom) which is mutation.

Sutra 19

Jesus said: “A man had guest-friends, and when he had prepared the dinner, he sent his servant to invite the guests.
He went to the first,he said to him: “My master invites thee.” He said: “I have some claims against some merchants; they will come to me in the evening; I will go and give them my orders. I pray to be excused from the dinner.’
He went to another, he said to him: “My master has invited thee.” He said to him: “I have bought a house and they request me for a day. I will have no time.”
He came to another, he said to him: “My master invites thee.” He said to him:“My friend is to be married and I am to arrange a dinner; I shall not be able to come. I pray to be excused from the dinner.”
He went to another, he said to him: “My master invites thee.” He said to him: “I have bought a farm, I go to collect the rent. I shall not be able to come. I pray to be excused.”
The servant came, he said to his master: “Those whom thou hast invited to the dinner have excused themselves.”
The master said to his servant: “Go out to the roads, bring those whom thou shalt find so that they may dine.”
Tradesmen and merchants shall not enter the places of my father.”

Jesus (Awareness) is pointing out to the ‘profanity’ of the mundane and its vulgar lack of awareness as also to the sacredness of nothingness and innocence. This innocence is beauty which receives invitation from Insight & Intelligence.

Sutra 20

His disciples said to him: “When will the repose of the dead come about and when will the new world come?”
He said to them: “What you expect has come, but you know it not.”
His disciples said to him: “Twenty-four prophets spoke in Israel and they all spoke about thee.”
He said to them: “You have dismissed the living one who is before you, and you have spoken about the dead.”
Jesus said: “I have cast fire upon the world, and see, I guard the world until it is afire.”

Holiness of being is lost in the hoax of becoming.
Awareness is lost in anticipation.
Joyful existence is sabotaged by the ‘experience’ of joy.
Existential energy is lost in expectation.
Living the teachings is not possible through minding the teachings.
Certificates from dead prophets is more important for the stupid mind than the comprehension of the phenomenon in the body of the living teacher.
Awareness (Jesus) confirms that it is firing and blasting through some human bodies irrespective of whether such bodies are designated or recognised as Guru or Master or not. And this blasting and burning will continue until the separativeness in the human consciousness is reduced to ashes for the ushering of new divine consciousness free from the culture of killing and being killed under the monstrous supervision of priests and politicians.

Sutra 21

Jesus said: “If you bring forth that within yourselves, that which you have will save you. If you do not have that within yourselves, that which you do not have will kill you.”
Jesus said: “Let him who seeks, not cease seeking until he finds.
And when he finds he will be troubled, he will marvel, and he will reign over all.”
And he said: “Whoever finds explanation of these words will not taste death.”

Awareness declares that there is no ‘saviour’ out there functioning as a mafia-leader saving only those who are church-going Christians! For ‘saviour’ himself was not ‘christian’, only his ‘followers’ are! And these ‘Christians’ are perhaps determined to go to hell under the leardership of the pious President of the most powerful nation and of the Pope from that part of the planet where millions of ‘non-christians’ were mercilessly massacred for ‘purification’ of the land. Jesus will indeed have a tough job to ‘save’ all these ‘christians’!
Therefore, Jesus says: “That (Awareness) which saves you (mind) is already within you (the body). For God’s sake, wake up! If you do not wake up, you do not have the awareness. This lack of awareness will indeed kill you.” Awareness (Jesus) says: “Do not compromise with mind, its manipulation and mischiefs.
But when you wake up from the games of the mind, you will be in trouble! Mind will crucify you! But ultimately you ( as Awareness) will marvel. And will be supreme everywhere.”
And Jesus (Awareness) said: “Whoever understands these utterances will come out of the cycle of birth and death (Jivan-Mukta) and will taste immortality inspite of being a mortal.”
