There are no two

Human consciousness is constituted by its contents comprising of cultural inputs and conditioning. There is no part of the conspicuous self-consciousness which is outside the net-work of its contents.

to die to the illusion ‘I’ every moment so that a human being can live in Intelligence from moment to moment without the burden of the past and the ‘becoming’ of the future.

There is no psychological evolution or development. There is only the ending and demolition of the separative psyche ‘I’, for the emergence of divinity which is the awakening of Intelligence.

Yoga means integration between mind and life, between mundane and the most sacred, between the divine imminent and the divine transcendent, between the holy and the humdrum, between the separative consciousness generated by the constant churning of thought and an unitive awareness in which stimulus and response become one unitary movement.

Message 73

Seattle (USA), 1 September 2004

[Continued from Messages 71, 72]

In this message, the phenomena VIII to X (enlisted in Message 71) comprising of 24 verses have been presented. Chapter and verse have been indicated in the same manner as before.

VIII. Flash of Intelligence, freedom from Opposites.

3.38 As fire is obscured by smoke, a mirror by dust, as the embryo is enveloped by the membrane, so the memory and intellect is obscured by mind and ego.

3.43 Having a flash of the Intelligence beyond the intellect, getting a glimpse of the essence of Existence transcending the limited elements of the ego, overcome the enemy appearing in the form of self-pity (desire, delusion and depression), which is indeed difficult to conquer.

2.15 Indeed the one whom sensuality (in spite of the sensory perceptions) does not afflict and to whom unhappiness & happiness are the same, is ready for immortality.

2.38 Engage in the war against the wicked, the wrongdoings; holding pleasure and pain to be alike, likewise gain and loss, victory and defeat. Thus you shall not incur evil.

4.36 Even if you were the most evil of all evildoers, you would cross over all evil by the boat of Enlightenment (the flash of Intelligence outside the domain of separative consciousness).

6.7 One who is available to the essence of Existence, who has thus conquered his limited elements of the ego and is therefore peaceful, such a person is steadfast in cold, heat, pleasure and pain, in honour and disgrace.

6.9 One who is equal-minded toward friend, companion and enemy, who is neutral among adversaries and kinsmen, who is impartial among the good and also among the evil, he is indeed distinguished because he has such equanimity.

5.20 One who knows Brahma and is established in Brahma (Universal Intelligence), he does not rejoice upon attaining the pleasant, nor does he shudder upon encountering the unpleasant. His intellect is still and is undeluded.

IX. Mysterious

5.13 ‘Otherness’ connected to the body, sits happily aloof and indifferent from all activities of the mind (craving, attachment, fear, and dependency). ‘HE’ is indeed the ‘Ruler’ of this ‘City’ of nine gates. ‘He’ is in total inaction (although all activities in the body are possible because of the connection with ‘Him’). Also, ‘He’ is not the cause for any activity of the mind (separative consciousness).

7.4 Earth, water, fire, air, ether, intellect, mind and ego — all this is ‘My’ material nature in eight parts or aspects.

7.5 But the transcendental Aspect has nothing to do, that is, is totally different from all this! And the whole universe is held and sustained in THIS ASPECT!

9.34 Be available to THIS, be devoted to THIS, sacrifice everything to THIS, bow down and make reverence to THIS, be steadfast to THIS, make THIS as the supreme aim, get connected to THIS, do come to THIS!

5.17 Be absorbed in THIS, be fixed on THIS, hold and understand THIS, shake off evils by the awareness of THIS and thus come out of the cycle of birth and death of the mind-ego illusion.

4.39 One who trusts and one who does not convert perceptions into propaganda, attains THIS. And having attained THIS, one quickly attains Supreme Peace.

4.37 As the kindled fire reduces firewood to ashes, so the fire of the awareness of THIS INTELLIGENCE reduces all activities of the mind and ego into ashes (of SHIVA).

5.29 Having known a spark of THIS INTELLIGENCE (PURUSHA) Which enjoys sacrifices and austerities, Who is the mighty Lord of all worlds and Who is the dearest Friend of all living beings, the sage attains irrevocable Peace.

X. Sacrifice of knowledge for knowing to be.

4.33 More auspicious is the sacrifice of knowledge than the sacrifice of mere material possessions. All actions, without exception, are fully comprehended when knowledge ends for knowing to be, that is, when there is freedom from the past for the perception to be.

4.34 KNOW! Through humility, through enquiry (swadhyay), through practice (of kriya). Only the direct perceiver of Existence (THATNESS) (Satguru) should teach to lead other humans to know.

5.14 Lord (INTELLIGENCE) is not interested in wielding any authority, nor in any activities of the mundane! HE is not even concerned with the consequences of such activities which are determined by Gunas or material nature.

5.15 Emptiness (Lord) is not interested in the evil or the good deeds of anyone! People are deluded as the bliss of knowing is enveloped by borrowed knowledge!

5.21 Not available to external influence, one finds happiness in internal insight. He is then connected to Emptiness (not ego) and thus attains imperishable happiness.

6.18 When one is absorbed in Emptiness alone, with order in the contents of consciousness and is thus free from attachment and cravings, then he is said to be a saint.

6.20 When the consciousness is in rest and restrained by the practice of Yoga and when the observation (sight) of Emptiness happens without the division between the observer (spectator) and the observed (spectacle), then a supreme contentment manifests.

6.47 Of all the connected ones, he who has merged his inner being in Me (Emptiness), honours Me, full of trust, is thought to be the most united with Me (PURNA CHAITANYA, Universal Intelligence).
